The Blaine County Sheriff’s Office works hard to set high standards and a professional approach to our duties within the county. All applicants have the ability to succeed. We require a minimal knowledge of law enforcement practices to become a deputy and prior experience in the field as a law enforcement officer will help you thru the interview process. The minimum age for BCSO is 16 years (in real life). No matter your age, everyone is held to the same standards. Once hired you will become a member of our patrol division.
Should you be selected you will be put thru the Statewide Police Academy and the BCSO Field Training Program. Put in some good effort and your application will likely be accepted. These are some things to keep in mind when applying to the Blaine County Sheriff’s Office. Good luck!
